Leonard Smith Jr is the founder and CEO of the Native American Development Corporation which powers the Eagle Seeker Community Center. Leonard was recognized as a natural born leader early in his life. He received the name Wamni Wone, meaning Eagle Seeker, by a tribal elder when he was young. The name Eagle Seeker symbolizes vision, leadership, looking into the future, and signifies a path toward healing. Leonard has embraced his name by spending his life building and developing initiatives to support and enhance the Native community. His vision, leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset have led way to strengthen the Native workforce, advance economic development, and public health. By doing these things he has promoted health, wellness, and economic breakthroughs throughout Indian Country.
The Eagle Seeker Community Center offers a space for the Native American and local community to gather, collaborate, and grow. Between our gymnasium, kitchens, and community rooms there are lots of opportunities for you. Our community center provides a cultured and family environment where we can all learn, grow, and celebrate together.
